2016 was a big year for change at Turnbull & Asser – we had numerous legacy systems that needed to be retired or replaced and also faced some extreme project deadlines which were prerequisite to opening new store locations. I had just starting working for Turnbull & Asser at the beginning of the year and while I possessed the technical chops, I did not have a wealth of retail experience to draw from. One Step has proved to be an invaluable technology partner for me as we implemented a new point of sale solution, replacing a legacy system that had been running since 2002. One Step’s implementation team offered a wealth of retail systems knowledge that genuinely added immeasurable value to the project. Not only did I personally benefit from learning tons about the retail business, but our systems and procedures also benefited and improved from the experience.
I need to give praise to the implementation team, who regularly went above and beyond to offer their help. All of the technical and project management resources I encountered from One Step were top notch professionals and a pleasure to work with. We went from the initial engagement to go-live within only a few months and I don’t think we would have been able to meet such an aggressive implementation timeline without the expertise and guidance of the One Step team.
I look forward to working with One Step on all the various projects that lay ahead in 2017. It’s another big year for us, where Teamwork POS will be rolled out to our UK stores and when our integrations to SAP, Magento and 3PL vendor systems will go live. I have the utmost faith that One Step will continue to be an excellent partner for us as we push these giant infrastructure projects forward.
