Inside Sales Rep (AZ)

Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Rep is the person responsible for making first contact with our potential clients. He or she must have a knack of being able to get the right people on the phone, love talking to people and enlighten them on the benefits of our products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales with high-quality leads
  • Cold call (generate new suspects and prospects) from company provided lists and/or other sources:
    1. Make 80 to 100 dials per day
    2. Have 12 to 15 conversations with prospective clients per day
  • Educate prospective companies about the benefits of our retail technology solutions and our Managed Services Provider (MSP) services using the TruMethods ISR philosophies
  • Schedule First Time Appointments and follow-up appointments with existing prospects:
    1. Set 3 to 5 solid qualified appointments per week, every week
  • Call existing prospects with regular follow-up to check in and see if an appointment with a salesperson can be scheduled
  • Complete a survey and collect business intelligence on each call and enter into the CRM database
  • Assist the Marketing Lead Manager and/or the Marketing Production Coordinator with special projects and other marketing functions as directed

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Able to understand and communicate ideas well
  • Attention to detail with entering information into our prospect database accurately and quickly while simultaneously speaking with people
    1. Ability to type 35+ words per minute a plus
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Technically inclined and computer savvy and has the ability to learn quickly
  • Self-motivated
  • Personable enough to build rapport with prospective clients during the first phone call so that even if a prospective client is not interested he/she will still accept follow-up calls in the future
  • Ability to get through the “Gate-Keeper” and reach C-level Electives
  • A “never-give-up” attitude and an ability to identify and develop new sales openings as well as provide meaningful and timely follow up
  • Ability to withstand rejection
  • Listening skills (Ability to understand what is being said and acknowledges it properly)
  • Basic understanding of the retail industry and problems faced by retailer
  • Understanding of our technology offerings and how they can help the retailers you will be contacting
  • Must have high level responsibility and personal ethics
  • Ability to work with various personality types
