When it came time to select a new retail POS system for the team shops for 2 of our minor league baseball teams, One Step Retail Solutions and Retail Pro was our choice. Being able to interface with Give-X, the system capabilities, reporting, and the promise of excellent customer service were all deciding factors in our selection of OSRS and Retail Pro.
We were assigned a project manager to work with. We constructed a project plan that met our time constraints and went according to a schedule that worked best with us. Our implementation specialist knew that I had previously worked with Retail Pro and helped me with the transition to the updated version. Unfortunately due to the unforeseen circumstances, they were not able to assist us with the go-live process. OSRS immediately sent other members of the support team to step in for them in their absence. The support team did a great job at getting us up and running and our implementation specialist was back to assist in just a short week and wrapped up the last details.
We are still refining the system but feel that we are close to the perfect system that is currently running smoothly and giving me the reports with integrity. Our implementation specialist is very knowledgeable and has an excellent comprehension of Retail Pro and has made the necessary suggestions to ensure that I am using the system to my benefit. They are also quick to respond to any questions and concerns that I have.
I would recommend OSRS, with their great Project Managers, for anyone looking for a new retail point of sale system.
