Unique "Hybrid" architecture allows for the back office benefits of RP9.2 without disrupting ANY of your current business processes and to grow to full RP9 at your own pace.

How the architecture works:

• Retail Pro 9.2 appliance installed at your main.
  
  
• Retail Pro 8.6 is deployed as the RP8 main and at any remotes (8.6 is the only version that is PCI compliant and can be licensed with 9.2).
  
  
• Everything you are used to in RP8 is still there.
  
  
• Sales at the remotes poll to the RP8 main.
  
  
• The RP9 appliance pulls data from the RP8 main using ECM and Analytics creates a data mart for reporting on top of the RP9 canned crystal reports.

Installing the RP 9 Appliance gets your business on the right footing to take full advantage of the benefits of RP 9. New Stores can be added to the RP9 appliance as an RP9 remote without converting the 8.6 remotes.
